Naomi Klein argues that the suppression of imagination is a neolibral tactic. This idea alone spawned a multi-hour conversation between Em Piro and Leanna Keith, which eventually led to the creation of this work. How can art encourage imagination? How can audience have agency? How can we break the social paradigm of classical/new music?
