The album release show for Leanna’s newest album: “No Bullshit”. Featuring Marina Albero on piano and dulcimer, John-Carlos Perea on electric bass and cedar flutes, and Elias Chanteloup on taiko drums. No Bullshit is an improvised musical response to the era of rapidly developing generative AI, hustle capital culture, divisive identity politics, and the general overwhelm of technology as a usage in order to emphasize maximum efficiency over real human connection. Four artists of wildly different musical backgrounds come together to create an album that is not quite jazz, not quite world music, not quite experimental music, not quite classical, but a combination that defies labels and containers.
